Get Involved Now!
So you want to get involved in the undergraduate student government at the UofM? You found the right place and the best place.
Every student is a member of MSA forum, also known as an honorable non-voting member. By this, we mean, you may not be elected but we still welcome you to all of our committees, to work on projects with chairpersons, and be yielded the floor at forums to help continue discussions on important topics.
The best and quickest way to get involved is to
- Contact Campus Relations Chair Dustin Huibregtse (huibr010@umn.edu). He will ask you a few quick questions about what you would like to do at the UofM, what you did in high school, and what your interests are. He will then suggest a committee that would be a great fit, and would ask that either the chair of that committee contact you or you go ahead and contact the committee.
- Go to the committees page (http://msa.umn.edu/?page_id=9) and navigate the committees on the right side. You may also check out the Programs and Special Events Page (http://msa.umn.edu/?page_id=19) and get additional information on possibly a specific event or program you would like to help organize, lead, and run.
We are the undergraduate student government on campus and we need your help!
